Forwarding Cases

 

Purpose – The purpose of this job aid is to guide users on the process for the recipient of a case to forward the case to another user in the same organization. This function may be useful when a user is going to be away from work for a while and needs a co-worker to work on his/her cases. This function will enable the co-worker to receive notifications on the case while the assigned worker is out of the office. The original recipient will be able to specify both the Start Date and End Date to begin and end the forwarding period.

 

Process:

 

  1. Log into NEICE and go to Actions.
  2. From the Menu select My Cases.
  3. Select a Cases by entering a check in the checkbox next to the M/CMS caseid.
  4. From the Actions box dropdown (to the right side), select Forward.

  1. Select Forward tofrom the dropdown list of users in your organization.
    1. Select any additional users to receive Notifications related to this case.
  2. Select the Start Date.
  3. Select the End Date.
  4. Select Save.

  1. The system displays a confirmation prompt – Are you sure want to Forward? Click Yes to forward.

  1. Going forward the notifications on the case will be sent to all users selected along with the case assigned user and the agency email.

 

 

 

Forwarding Notifications

 

Purpose – The purpose of this job aid is to enable the recipient of a Notification to forward the notification, and all subsequent Notifications related to this case, to another user in the same organization.  The original recipient will be able to specify both the Start Date and End Date to begin and end the forwarding period.

 

Process:

 

  1. Log into NEICE and go to the Dashboard.
  2. From the Menu select Notifications.
  3. Select a Notification by entering a check in the checkbox next to the Transmittal Type indicator.
  4. From the Actions box select Forward.

  1. Select Forward to from the dropdown list of users in your organization.
    1. Select any additional users to receive Notifications related to this case.

  1. Select the Start Date.
  2. Select the End Date.
  3. Select Save.

  1. The system displays a confirmation prompt – Are you sure want to Forward? Click Yes to forward.

  1. Going forward the notifications will be sent to all users selected along with the case assigned user and the agency email.

 

 

Process to Stop the Forwards:

 

  1. From the Menu select Manage Forwards.

  1. Select a Cases by entering a check in the checkbox next to the M/CMS caseid.
  2. From the Actions box dropdown (to the right side), select Stop Forward.
