NEICE Case Management System 2.0 

Release Notes: 03/10/2025

Below is the list of Product Improvements/Issues that were reported to Tetrus that have been addressed in this Release version. These updates pertain only to the CMS and MCMS systems. 


New Feature 

• Case Tasks 

Job Aids have been developed and are available on the NEICE Support Desk Knowledge Base in a new section labeled "Case Tasks" in the Essential Job Aids section - Case Tasks: NEICE Support Desk. 


Case Management 


• NEIC2-3997 – The system will now allow the users to save the non-participating state 2nd child in a case without a jurisdiction county. 


Transmittals 


• NEIC2-3726 (Limited to case received from NCH Direct connect states)- The system will now display transmittal without cutting off the words. 


Message Retriever 

• NEIC2-4035- (Limited to case status update transmittals received from NCH Direct connect states)- The system will now display the correct Regulation Type in the case status update transmittal PDF. 

• NEIC2-4469- The system will now update the Placement Resource Organization FEIN / FEID on the receiving state side of the case. 

• NEIC2-4494- The system will now update Parent First Name, Parent Last Name, and Parent DOB for the child when the sex for parent is sent as "unknown. 

• NEIC2-4740- The system will now update the 'IsOtherSupervision' flag in the Form100A table when "Supervisory Services Requested" is sent as "Other" with other text. 


XML Generation 

• NEIC2-4394- The XML will now populate the respective child’s alias name when selected in M/CMS. 

• NEIC2-4468- The XML will now populate the Person Contact Information in the Placement Decision when the Placement Resource is an organization. 


MCMS: 

• NEIC2-4013 - Upgrading the .NET framework to version 8.0 in response to Microsoft's discontinuation of support for .NET Core 6.0. As part of our ongoing commitment to maintaining an up-to-date software stack, this upgrade ensures continued support from Microsoft. Additionally, we have enhanced our installer to conduct all necessary pre-requisite checks and install the required software for a seamless upgrade process
