A transmittal is the official ICPC communication between two states in NEICE. There are different transmittal types that can be sent or received when working on an ICPC case. Below are the different Transmittal types with the state who sends the transmittal, what it is used for, whether a document is required to be attached and the Purpose of Transmittal to select:
Each request type is a separate transmittal. The state can send multiple transmittals on a case. All transmittals except the Home Study Request can be sent multiple times. But multiple transmittal types cannot be combined in a single transmittal.
Choosing the Transmittal Type for sending 100A or 100B is important as it populates certain fields and dates in the database.
